Introducing Sammi Cunningham,

Class of 2018

Having completed the first year of her degree, a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Wildlife and Conservation Biology) at Deakin University, Sammi is currently in South Africa completing a study unit and volunteering with the Big 5 Wildlife Conservation Project.

She spoke about how getting involved in as much as you can whilst at school, whether that is sport, music, art, drama, science or one of the many other extracurricular activities,  “will give you the chance to meet new people and to create wonderful memories that you’ll continue to look back on once you’ve graduated.”

Her fondest memories of Doncaster Secondary College are those in which she went out of her way to involve herself.

Travelling to Sydney, Tasmania and New Zealand on music tours and Central Australia on Year 11 camp will be memories that she will forever cherish.

Your time at school goes by quickly, so take every opportunity and make memories that will stay with you forever.
