Middle School

Middle School Matters

As 2018 finishes we have the opportunity to reflect on the growth of our students, academically and socially while developing skills to allow all to “Be the Best they Can Be”.

Our year has been filled with opportunities for all and without the support of the Middle School Team, many areas would not have succeeded. Thank-you to Mr Nicholas Arnold (Year 7 Co-Ordinator), Ms Cian Barrie (Year 8 Co-Ordinator), Miss Jacinta Wilson (Year 9 Co-Ordinator), Mr Peter Allen (Wellbeing Co-Ordinator) and Mrs Judy Anderson (Assistant Principal).

I would also like to thank the 2018 Middle School Leaders who stepped up time and time again to help students and staff on activities and represented our school in many areas in the community.

Over the Middle School Year we have had a camp, excursions, incursions, special days, guest speakers, expo’s, information nights, special days with the community, sports days, production participants all while completing work to the best of the students ability.

I wish everyone a safe and restful break, refreshed for 2019.

Regards

Rotary Interact Middle School Student Leaders

The 2019 Middle School Student Leaders spent a day at East Doncaster Secondary College for the Annual Interact Training, where representatives from various Colleges participated in leadership and project workshops. Our students: Jordan Plant, Lachlan Palmer, Jasmine Kleinman and Megan Norton enjoyed the opportunity to meet student leaders and plan our Interact projects. We continue to thank the Glen Waverly Rotary Club for their ongoing support of our students and projects.

Toy And Book Appeal

Thank you to all our students, staff and families for their generous donations of Toys and Books for The Smith Family Christmas Project. Deliveries were made this week for the distribution to families in need.

This project was again supported by our 2018 Rotary Interact Students and the Glen Waverley. An awesome effort.
