2018 Christmas Tour
On Thursday 12 December the All Star Choir will be undertaking their annual Christmas Tour, singing to a variety of audiences.
Meeting at school, they warm up and then board the bus which takes them first to Southland, then at a luncheon for the RSL Ladies Auxiliary Club at the Sandringham Football Club. We finish with carols at the Mentone Childcare Centre where the little ones play the jingles with us and join in singing if they can.
The students wear Christmas-themed outfits (Christmas trimmings on black and white) and everyone has a great time sharing the Christmas cheer! It's a fun friendly way to end the school year.

On Wednesday 13 November the Year 7 band went on an excursion to the Hawthorn Art Centre to perform as part of the Victorian Music School Festival. We played three songs: Gizmo, G-Force 5 and Legend of Boudica. After, we had an on stage tutorial with Dr Rob McWilliams, a very well known Australian professor, who worked with the band on dynamics and articulation. Dr McWilliams was very complimentary about how well our band played after only a short time learning our instruments. We enjoyed listening to three other school bands and learnt lots. It was a very fun experience and we are so grateful we got to be perform at the Victorian School Music Festival.
