Student Leadership 

Student Leaders 2018

The first assembly of the year was an opportunity to recognise the student leaders of 2018 and present them with their badges. The student leaders for 2018 are as follows:

College Captains: Antonina Notaro and Molly Sceney

College Vice Captains: Natasha Buckley and Tanya Vejdani.

Our College Captains both began their roles by making a speech welcoming our students back to the College. Our College Vice Captains compèred the assembly, ensuring there were smooth transitions between each new speaker.

Middle School Captains: Liam Kelly, Amelia Paterson, Jackson Steele and Sarah Thompson

Middle School Leaders: Chloe Fleming, Felicity Gramberg, Jess Phillips, Jake Sia, Blake Teunissen, Hayley Tidd and Paris Trapouzanlis.

The Middle School Leaders will be working with Mrs Robinson and Ms Barrie across the year to assist Middle School students. 

International Captain: Oliver Wang

Oliver will represent the International students of Wheelers Hill Secondary College throughout this year.

Derrimut House Captains: Emily Tate and Issy Jones

Derrimut Vice Captains: Natasha Buckley, Marnath Ter and Jasmine Sweeney

Jells House Captains: Kyle Gwynne and Ben Segal

Jells Vice Captains: Tanya Vejdani, Emily Fitzpatrick and Erin McKenzie

Napier House Captains: Jade Golotta and Tayla Huckel

Napier Vice Captains: Elise Bentley, Raquel Land and Jeremy Dennis

Scott House Captains: Krystal Nuku and Dylan Archer

Scott Vice Captains: Jai Edwards, Lauren Lavery and Cooper Stainthorpe.

The House Captains have already begun their duties by signing students up for events in the College Swimming Carnival and supporting their houses throughout the day.

Arts Captains: Natasha Buckley and Issy Jones

Arts Vice Captains: Thomas Bowley and Jemma Frisina

The Arts Captains will assist with various events throughout the year, including the College Production, Performing Arts Showcases and the Art Show. 

Student Voice: Krystal Nuku, Emily Tate, Dylan Archer, Issy Jones, Ben Segal, Jasmine Sweeney, Jemma Frisina, Gabby Giulieri, Mikayla Harvey, Sarah Burke Heatley, Abby Chesson, Chloe Fleming, Felicity Gramberg, Maddy Huckel, Jessica Naylor, Amelia Paterson, Jess Phillips, Sarah Thompson, Paris Trapouzanlis and Lachlan Palmer.

The Student Voice group will be meeting soon to organise whole-school events to raise money for various causes. 

Peer Support Leaders: Austin Agathogleous, Rylan Bullock, Madi Church, Jai Edwards, Ashlea Foster, Adam Gason, Gabby Giulieri, Mikayla Harvey, Brooke Marsh, Anthony Massalas, Caryss McCulloch, Erin McKenzie, Ruby Penson, Molly Petty, Andre Pittams, Hayley Salt, Jess Shugg, Cooper Stainthorpe, Iliana Suliman, Jack Thomson, Jarrad Twigg and Jack Weir.

The Peer Support Leaders have already started working with the year 7s to assist them in their transition to high school. They will continue to run sessions with their groups across terms 1 and 2.
