TRAVEL ASSISTANCE
Most train replacement buses will be low-floor models to assist passengers with mobility requirements. Alternative transport can be arranged for passengers who need mobility assistance and cannot board train replacement bus services.
For passengers with a communication disability or difficulties, Metro Trains has introduced a text message service which can be accessed by texting 0428 789 329 (7am – 7pm weekdays, 9am-5pm weekends and public holidays). This can be used for general enquiries relating to Metro Trains and information on service changes.
Should your clients or members require assistance with alternative travel they should call PTV on 1800 800 007 from 6am – midnight (all night Friday & Saturday), or you can do so on their behalf.
If anyone within your organisation would like to speak directly to a project representative about the upcoming rail disruption they can contact us on 1800 105 105 or email contact@levelcrossings.com.au.
We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
