News from the Alphine School Students

We have been here for  a few weeks now. Everyone has made lots of new friends. Before coming here we mostly thought it wouldn’t be the best, however we have learnt new things and everyone here agrees that we are all having a great time!

There have been some challenges, but we have all over came them.  We had our first exposition hike, which was for 2 days, 1 night, we were all excited but nervous. Currently, we have done mountain biking, bridge building, the duck production, and many other things.

Two of our group accomplishments was winning the big golden duck from the duck production which was yesterday (19th of February), as well as successfully building a bridge, and crossing it with our exposition group, where the photos are attached.

Our exposition groups (Loch) consists of 2 schools, which is ours, Taylors Lakes and Bass Coast, there are 3 other groups here as well. Phoebe had her 15th birthday here, where everyone sang happy birthday and we all had a vanilla, purple cake for her birthday. In addition to that, the food here, made by Mr D and Mrs Hannah, (the chefs) is absolutely delicious. Hope everything is going well at school!
