Year 12 Cadre Retreat Day

On Monday, 21 November as part of the preparation for the Year 8 Quest Retreat, Miss Wilson carried out a full day training session for the Cadre Leaders for 2023. With help from Mr Byrne and Mrs West, the Cadre spent the day reflecting on their own Year 8 Quest Retreat experiences and planned on making next year’s Retreat even better.  We are so blessed and thankful for Miss Wilson’s time, energy, and enthusiasm in preparing this Retreat, and to the Cadre for being so committed in their own Christian leadership of our Year 8 students. They are a true reflection of our TC mantra, Men for Others. We also sadly say goodbye to Claire Wilson who begins a new teaching adventure in Adelaide. We sincerely thank Claire for all her dedication to this role.  We will dearly miss her.

Year 7 Mass

On Tuesday, the Year 7 students celebrated their final Mass for the year in the Chapel. Well done to Mr Abordi’s 7.2 PCG for hosting their cohort Mass. Thank you to the readers, the PowerPoint operator, students taking up the offertory and a big thank you to the altar servers, and Matthew Loo – old boy from 2021 on piano. Thank you again to Fra Oscar, for allowing our students to reflect upon how to make the scripture teachings come to life in their own lives.

Friday 8.00am Community Mass - Year 7.7 & 7.8

This was our final Friday 8.00am Community Mass. A big thank you to Years 7.7 and 7.8 for hosting the Mass and to all our readers, Chase Oosterweghel, Joseph Di Ciano, and Nicholas Di Biase, and Altar Server, Brendan Carrabba. It is a lovely way to begin a Friday morning, as we prepare for another weekend. Thank you to Fra Oscar for celebrating our Eucharistic celebrations with such reverence and authenticity. Wishing you all a blessed, safe and Merry Christmas with your families and friends.

Year 10 Advent/Christmas Liturgy

Today, our Year 10s joined Mrs Stewart and Mrs West in the Chapel to reflect on the season of Advent, and how they can prepare for the coming of Jesus on Christmas day. We are so blessed to have such mature, young men who lead this special liturgy.  Thank you to all readers and staff who attended, and to the Year 10 PCG classes for your donations for St Barts.
