Mathematics-Money

In Mathematics over the last few weeks we have been learning all about money. Counting coins/notes and giving change being our main focus. Below you can see the students involved in the rotations that we do each day. In the photos you will see the students working out change, doing study ladder activities and participating in money counting Bingo.

Literacy 

During literacy time, students this term were working especially hard on Santa persuasive letters to make sure that they are on the nice list this year. Below you can see their efforts.

The last two weeks we have been working on an information report about Christmas Around the World. Every student has loved researching and learning about different countries and their Christmas traditions.

The students earlier this term went on an excursion to Wallabadah to visit the First Fleet Memorial for our history learning. While they were there they participated in a scavenger hunt organised by Mrs Wilson. The students went with Mrs Long and Miss Allan and they had a great time. See below some of the photos of the day.
