LIBRARY

A REMINDER ABOUT NEW LIBRARY HOURS
Because of the building works the library will be open to students in Years 7 -11 in the following times:
Daily before school: 8:15am - 8:50am
Monday - Thursday: Period 5 - 5:30pm
Friday: Period 5 - 4:30pm
You can borrow, return books and print during the above times only.
NOTE: students must return or renew all books borrowed in 2016 before new books can be borrowed in 2017. Log into the Library catalogue, Oliver, via the school home page to see what items you have on loan.
SOME NEW BOOKS IN THE LIBRARY
Interested in magic? Try reading Cosentino’s book. For more magic books go to 793.8 on the shelves.
Not a new book but a new copy of a very popular novel.
Lovers of fantasy novels should consider reading the Conan the Barbarian novels. Robert E Howard is often regarded as the father of the “sword and sorcery” genre. Howard's indomitable Conan the Barbarian hacks and slashes his way through wizards, warriors and unearthly forces.
YEAR 7 BOOK BUYING ACTIVITY
Each year Benn’s books come to the school with a wide range of books, including lots of new releases. After listening to a short talk, Year 7 students are invited to select books for the library to buy. This event will take place in mid-March. More details to come.
