Principal's Post

Dear Families,

Thursday and Friday were two very humbling and proud days for myself. The number of grateful emails I received from families was well over 120. As the poem stated, as a staff we wanted to do something to let our wonderful families know that we are thinking of you and missing the connection we have with you all.

I do not receive any information regarding lockdown and Remote Learning any earlier than the general public via press conferences but the numbers over the past few days do not look promising for a return to onsite learning on Friday. None the less, we remain hopeful of having our students all back before the end of the term.

When we consider the many other things going on in the world at the moment, our situation does not look so bad. It might be a good time to reflect on how often you pray as a family and possibly set aside some time for prayer, especially for those involved in the Afghanistan situation. I'm sure this would be a focus in classrooms if students were all on site.

I hope the, "Wellbeing Day" was wisely used by all families on Friday. It's important to have time away from the screen. Feel free to complete any of the activities we sent home over the next few weeks.

Please keep in touch with your child's class teacher to ensure that together we cater for your child's needs throughout Remote Learning.

MACSSIS Feedback Surveys

These surveys have been postponed by our Melbourne Archdiocese of Catholic Schools because of the current remote Learning situation. They are planning to administer them in Term Four.
