Principal Reflections

A Short Message from Dr Jake
Dear Parents & Friends,
I hope you had a relaxing and safe term break and that you were able to spend some quality time together with your family. It has been fantastic seeing the students return to school and settle quickly into Term 2. Term 2 is a reporting term and there are a number of important events coming up this term. Be sure to visit the school calendar to keep updated.
Many thanks to all who were able to attend the community's ANZAC march on Monday. While it was unfortunate that our whole school could not march, we were well represented with our student leaders, Isabella Brydon, Wallace Robinson, Phuc Ho and Keyondre Smith and Mr Flynn.
Our first Playgroup on Tuesday was well attended. If you were not able to attend the first session, I encourage you to join. If your child is coming into Kinder and you would like some more information on the playgroup, please contact the Infants' Office.
Cross Country on Wednesday saw the results of Mrs Gippel's hard work and our students gained some fantastic results, especially those in the winning house - Kennedy. Congratulations to all who participated - what a great effort! Check out the sports section for age group results.
Next week we celebrate our annual Mothers' Day Liturgy and picnic and will welcome hundreds of family members to the Primary Campus on Friday 6th May. We welcome all mothers and mother figures to join us in this celebration! This is a time for us to come together and give thanks for the role that mothers play in our lives.
Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us as we are only too happy to help.
Peace & Best Wishes
Dr Jake Madden
