Braith Warren - U16s Softball National Championships

Braith Warren (Year 10) recently represented NSW at the Softball Australia National Championships, held in Blacktown from the 21st to the 24th April.
Day 1 saw NSW come away with two victories from three games, with Day 2 a close loss to South Australia and rain finishing the day early. Day 3 brought an emphatic victory against Victoria, followed by a close defeat to QLD.
The Finals saw NSW lose a tight game to QLD, however, the boys followed this with victory against Victoria to progress to the Grand Final.
Despite QLD having the better of them during the rounds, NSW prevailed 10-1 to claim the Arthur Allsopp Shield.
Congratulations to Braith on this remarkable achievement. It is testament to his hard work and dedication to the sport. Training for the NSW team was in Sydney, which required incredible commitment from both Braith and his family. Braith is also trialling for the NSW CCC team in May and we wish him all the best with this.
