Kildare kicked off our Carroll Cup campaign with a dominant display over Wagga Wagga High School on Wednesday night. Led brilliantly by Captain, Joe Morton, our team shot out of the blocks with a great mark and goal to  Campbell Mattingly (5 Goals) inside the first 20 seconds of the game.

The second quarter was highlighted by some brilliant clearance work from ruckman Tom Nimmo and on ballers  Joe Morton and Coby Bourke.  Will Marsh and Campbell Mattingly took plenty of strong grabs down forward to capitalise on our midfield dominance and really set the tone for the remainder of the game. 

Kildare showed great teamwork throughout, with all team members playing well and contributing to the win. 

Next Wednesday our attention turns to TRAC. This game will be up against tougher opposition and we look forward to the challenge that is in front of us.
