Student Leader's Report
Hello we are your school captains Emily, Laneah, Genna and Olly.
Although last week was very busy many people enjoyed it and had plenty of fun. Last week it was harmony week and on the Monday everyone was invited to wear either orange or a cultural piece of clothing. The next day students went to regional swimming and sadly no one made it through to the next round but they gave it their best shot.
On world maths day majority of the classes did maths all day, they did projects as a class and had plenty of fun. On Thursday the leaders of the school and some of the grade fives participated in the GRIP Leadership conference they learnt about how to be a leader and the qualities of a leader. Then on Friday the last day of the week, students that made it to inter school participated in that, our school came third out of the big schools and many students won ribbons.
Next week is the last week of term! On Wednesday the 6th of April we have cross country for years 3-6 and feel free to wear your house colours to represent your house.
That evening students and families with the last name from A-K are invited to come to Kismet Parks 40th birthday celebration which had been postponed from last year. Then on the Thursday students and families with the last name starting with the letter L-Z are in invited to come that night. For the celebration feel free to bring a picnic and food, there will be food trucks and the movie will play later on in the night. Then it will be the last day of term and it is only a half day.
