Meet Our Team

The staff on Level Four are looking forward to a great year together and are eager to introduce themselves.

Meet Miss Maddy

Hi, I'm Maddy and I am very excited to teach 2A this year! I LOVE teaching and have had a blast over the last week getting to know all the personalities of the Year 2s. They are a brilliant bunch! Outside of school, I love riding my bike, going to the beach and trying different foods. I know this is going to be a wonderful year on Level Four and also for the whole South Melbourne Primary School community!

Meet Miss Hindy

Hi! My name is Hindy Wong and I grew up in Perth, Western Australia. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Primary Education at Edith Cowan University. I have taught overseas for 6 years at an International School and this will be my 1st year teaching at South Melbourne Primary School. On the weekends I enjoy cooking, shopping, attending Muay Thai classes and exploring different parts of Melbourne. I look forward to working with you to develop your child’s interest and independence in exploring the world around them and to become lifelong learners.

Meet Mr Callum

Hi everyone my name is Callum and I’m super excited to be teaching grade 4/5/6A this year! I have a maths degree and used to teach maths in high school back in the UK where I’m from. I love soccer and West Ham is the team I support.

Meet Mr Eli

I am Mr Eli and I am the teacher of 4/5/6B. I am new to the S.M.P.S team this year and have recently moved from Coffs Harbour in the Mid North Coast of N.S.W. I have really enjoyed the move and cannot wait to continue my career with the fantastic team at S.M.P.S.

Thank you

A big thank you to the wonderful parents on Level Four for ensuring their children have their fully charged devices at school! Each child from Grades 2-6 has completed a reading assessment on their device this week which has given teachers valuable data on their achievements and next steps. How wonderful!

Celebration

Congratulations to Mia C (Grade 2), Elijah P (Grade 3), Ava W (Grade 4/5/6A) and Levi H (Grade 4/5/6B) who all received the very first awards at assembly this week! The teachers found it very challenging to choose only one student per class as there were so many outstanding young people demonstrating our values. We can't wait to see who earns them next week!

Specialist Timetable

Note that students are able to wear their Sports Uniform on days when they have PE in the attached timetable.
