Meet Miss Adrienne 

Hi my name is Adrienne Maisano and my passions stretch from education to travel and so many things in-between. I love learning through hands on experiences which is what I endeavour to bring into the classroom. My journey in education started as a sport coach and integration aide before graduating as a teacher. I have had 6 years in the classroom teaching a variety of year levels and I look forward to continuing the journey this year in Grade 1. 

Meet Miss Maddie

Hello and Namaste! My name is Madeline Gort. I am beyond excited to begin my journey as a teacher which has been my life long dream! I have a passion for learning alongside my teaching. I love traveling and immersing myself in different cultures. I’m just got back travelling through Nepal and India would love to to link knowledge gained and incorporate it all into my teaching. I enjoy the outdoors, including hiking and playing my ukulele. I love cooking and I relish a great ‘dad’ joke!  I look forward to becoming a part of such a unique school community!

Meet Miss Megan

Hi my name is Megan Hartwick and I am thrilled to be joining the South Melbourne Primary community. I am originally from a small town of 250 in Canada and have been living in teaching in Australia for nearly a year and a half. I love to spend time outdoors, especially through camping and long distance hiking.  I love dogs and dog sit for my friends very often, because I miss my dog back in Canada so much!  I play guitar and also love to sing.  Looking forward the year ahead  with SMPS team!

Meet Miss Lucy 

My name is Lucy Kennedy. Before coming to South Melbourne Primary School, I taught at Lara Lake Primary School in the Junior Department for 6 years. I grew up in a little town on the South Coast of New South Wales called Tathra. My parents and 3 sisters, Maddelyn, Georgia and Charlotte, are all very close and I love spending my holidays back there. My favourite thing to do in my spare time is to go to the beach and spend time with my family and friends. I am very lucky that I have grown up in a place that has some of Australia’s best beaches. 

Meet Miss Sophie

Hi my name is Sophie Trescowthick and I am excited for the year ahead in Grade 1.  I grew up on a farm in country New South Wales and becuase of it have a huge passion for animals. In my spare time, I love horse riding and walking my dogs.  Another passion of mine is sport. I love football, tennis, running and skiing. I have lots of energy and passion for learning and my classroom is one of warmth, friendliness and fun.
