Year 3 / 4 News...

On Friday the 15th of November 40 Year 3/4 students headed down to Dixon Field in Gisborne to play cricket against other schools around the area.

We had been training every Wednesday afternoon and were excited to show off our cricketing skills. When we arrived we had a cricket skills session then got ready to play our first match.

We had 4 teams in total and each played 3 games. We competed against Kismet Park PS, Killara PS, Goonawarra PS, Candlebark and Romsey PS.

Unfortunately the Year 4 teams lost all of their games, but tried hard and came very close. The Year 3 teams won 5 out of the 6 games and showed great sportsmanship.

Overall it was a very successful day.
