Wellbeing

Welcome back to 2021!

Hi everyone,

after a bit of a bumpy start to the year, I’m sure we’re all hopeful things will improve as the year goes by.

As I commenced in the role of School Chaplain at Bimbadeen Heights at the beginning of last year and because 2020 was so disrupted, I thought I’d write a little about myself and my role.

I am married with four adult children who each have children of their own. I have seven precious grandchildren aged 2 - 12 years old.

As the chaplain, my role is to help with providing support in the areas of social, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of students, families and staff. I work at BHPS on Wednesdays and Thursdays of the school week.

Some people who come to see me, contact me themselves; or, a teacher might suggest they come to see me; or, a student’s family member might make contact with me. Sometimes, students approach me in the school yard during lunch play time. Others post a note to me in the red box that is situated in the entrance foyer to the school.

Please come and say “Hi” to me when you see me in the playground or at a school event. I look forward to meeting many more of the school community during the coming year.
