Art Gallery Excursion

Year 10 students with Miss Noske went to the Hamilton Gallery to see the Margaret Olley travelling exhibition. Students wrote about one of her paintings and viewed a film on her life and work as an Australian artist. The style of painting will inform and influence how students approach their own paintings this semester. 

Students also had the opportunity to view many of the permanent collections including, porcelain, glass, prints and paintings. The gallery has been re furbished and this made for an excellent experience.
