PFA NEWS

The PFA is back for 2021! The annual General Meeting was held on Thursday 18th February 2021, it is with great pleasure that we announce this year’s committee members:

  • President - Kym Craig
  • Vice presidents - Geraldine Oborne & Adele Bretherton
  • Secretary Notices & Newsletters - Jennifer Croft 
  • Secretary Minutes - Melissa Hussey
  • Treasurer - Elisa De
  • PFA school council representative – Arun Kumar & Diane Gakhal

Congratulations to all the committee members and thank you to all parents who attended via zoom and made some wonderful suggestion. The PFA is an essential part of our school’s operation and provides the students and teachers with a good deal of support. Through its fund-raising activities, the PFA has been able to purchase an extensive range of equipment and resources for our school over recent years.

 

Save the dates

All our planning is now well underway for this year’s favourite fundraising events, keep an eye this term for-

  • A yummy Lunch Orders Special Day
  • Hot cross buns for Easter  

 

Second Hand Uniform Stall

The Second-Hand Uniform Stall is also back for the year. We run once a month throughout the year. This year it will be held outside the office at the main entrance in the mornings 8.30-9.00am and in the afternoon from 3.00-3.30pm. The next stall will be held on Friday 30th of April.

 

If anyone has any uniforms they would like to donate to the school, please hand them to the office. All donations must be clean, without holes and able to be worn. (PSW uniforms only – no pants please)

 

PFA Meeting

The next PFA Meeting will be held on Thursday 18th May. All parents are invited to attend and participate in the PFA’s fundraising for the year.

If there are any parents that are unable to make it to the meeting but have ideas, please remember that you are always welcome email your suggestions to the PFA email address below.
