We are over the half way mark of the term and students are deep into their learning.
Over this fortnight we have completed a range of assessments in Reading, Writing and Maths. These assessments will be part of a range of assessments used to identify student achievements for their mid-year reports. In Reading students have been exploring non-fiction texts by comparing (same) and contrasting (different) a range of informational texts. In Writing, students continued to work on producing information reports by going through the writing cycle of planning, drafting, editing and publishing a piece of writing on a topic of their choice. In Maths, we have moved into exploring division. It's been great to see students using hands-on manipulatives to explore the concept of division and draw connections to multiplication.

Last week Mr Hudson finished his final placement in 3/4M. We very much appreciate his hard work throughout the four weeks he was a part of Bunyip Primary School. Throughout the time that Mr Hudson was in 3/4M, he guided students to build the skills to produce an information poster on an endangered animal which students then presented to the class. We are thrilled with the amazing work of the students. They should be very proud!
Thank you for your time in 3/4M Mr Hudson. We wish you all the best as you enter the teaching profession!
