2023 Alpine Stars Schools Mountain Bike Series.

This week I interviewed Kaiden from 1/2B as he is representing the school in the upcoming Mountain Bike competition.  He is competing at Dromana Secondary College on the 18th June.  Kaiden informed me he goes down to Garfield where he does lots of jumps.  He has had a couple of falls but not too bad.  Kaiden loves to race and is excited about the event.

If anyone would like further information regarding the event you can get in touch with the school.   We wish Kaiden well I am sure he will represent the schooll well.

Walk to school day.

It was fantastic to enjoy a nice but chilly walk to school last Friday with students that met staff at the Kinder.  It was a fantastic way to start the day with many students enjoying a good old chat especially about the upcoming weekend.

Staffing update

Melissa McCoy one of our ES members who joined the team late last year has decided to finish up working at the school.  We thank Melissa for her efforts while with us and wish her well for the future.

Curriculum Day 

Next week on Friday 9th of June students will not be required at school due to a curriculum day.  On this day our ES team will be completing their Level 2 First Aid training.   The teaching staff will be preparing and upskilling their knowledge based around the new Disability Inclusion model coming into schools in our area in 2024.
