Arts Day

Wow, what can we say! It was an amazing day, full of fun and creativity. Thank you to all who got involved in the inaugural Arts Day, ‘Wildest Dreams’.

Guest dancer, adjudicator and speaker, Montanna Stoneman, inspired us with her solo performance and her speech, highlighting the importance of the Arts in our lives.

Congratulations to all students who performed in the House Dance Competition with enthusiasm and energy. A special mention to the winning House for Dance; Ashburn, who presented a polished dance piece to Whitney Houston’s, ‘Dance with Somebody’.

During the middle session of the day, students participated in workshops by industry professional in the fields of Visual Art, Music and Drama. The day culminated in the House Song Competition, adjudicated by Shaun Brown, who gave valuable feedback to our students on performance and choral techniques.

Congratulations to Radcliffe, whose performance of ‘A Million Dreams’ was a standout and won the House Song section. We are now busy tabulating all the points throughout the day to announce the overall house champion for Arts Day 2023.

Well done on the staff performance of ‘Can’t stop that feeling’! The reaction from the students says it all!!!
