Mother's Day at CJC

We hope that everyone who attended the Mother’s Day Breakfast this morning had a great time celebrating with their children and other parents as well as enjoying the breakfast run by our Dad volunteers. Hopefully your child was also able to pick a special present for the big day on Sunday from our stall. We will have lots of photos from the day to share next week.

We are especially pleased that CJC was able to run a Dad led event for mother’s day and the Mum’s will return the favour in September. We would like give an extra thanks Mat Thompson for offering to run the event as well as Tim Hall and Marc Warshall for accepting the tap on the shoulder to coordinate, Pierrick Boyer of Reverie Café for baking all of the delicious pastries, and the following Dads who got up extra early to make it happen on the day: Arvind Chandran, Daniel Carter, Blake Ferguson, Conrad Howard, Mads Sorenson, Clarel Philibert, Craig Woolf, Yann Sandrié, Blake, David Etheve, Jared Furtado, Matt Rechter, Richard Ferrier, Sam Krinsky!

Likewise, we would like to thank the Mother’s Day team who stepped forward to coordinate the Mother’s Day Stall: Valeria Green, Sandy Casaroli, Macella Wilder, Penny Small and Lucy Ransley. Many Thanks Ladies for taking on this challenge, many of you for the first time.  We would also like to thank the following people who volunteered on the day to help our children pick their special gift or arrange flowers the day before: Bev Worrall, Stephanie Elbracht-Leong, Pierre Patole, Berengere Peignoux, Sue Mennie, Anne Sophie Aguado, Victoria Pye, Charlotte Conn, Hayley Bacher, Dafna Garfield-Morvay, Dani Goldman, Swapna Garge, Noemie Decamme, Brigitta Pesochinsky, Liora Keidar, Dorrit Jaffe, Amy Grant, Anna Olishina, Maud Rocher-Vagedes, Natalie Weisz and Nicci Kabbani.

Class Year Level Stay and Play Afternoons

To enable further opportunities for families and our children to connect, Class Convenors, PC and the School have organized a series of “Stay and Play” after school events where families can stay on school ground from 3.30 until 5.30 to enjoy a casual catch up. Children must be supervised by a parent. Your class convenor will be in touch with more details for your class.  Siblings, including those in other year levels are welcome to attend.
