The Grade 2 Corner

Grade 2 Binome students have enjoyed extra music sessions in the classroom, thanks to the DUET program. This program supports the delivery of curriculum-aligned classroom music programs, providing mentoring-based professional learning and coaching delivered by experienced Song Room music educators.

We are lucky at CJC to have Briony Swan, our music coach who will be with us on a weekly basis. This week, we played musical games, listened to the beat and the rhythm, sang and learned how to better cooperate. More exciting things to come !

Here are our winners for the Rallye Lecture (online French reading competition) that took place in Term 1. Our champions Minh, Felix, Janelle, Omeira and Theo managed to read an amazing amount of books and were able to answer comprehension questions about these books. Well done !
