Student-led Expo

In week 9 & 10 term 1 all Personal Learning Plan (PLP) classes had to interactively hold their own student-led career exhibition. In groups, students researched various industries and career pathways and were required to investigate courses that need to be completed to gain qualifications, research various duties, roles, skills, salaries, and personal qualities to enter their chosen industry. Students were required to make their exhibit look engaging and interactive and on the day students used their knowledge to present to the middle school students.
Groups selected industries such as hair and beauty, trades, interior design, protective services, business, healthcare and many more.
Students flourished gaining skills and confidence within this task and it was wonderful to see students interacting and communicating with their group and fellow peers.
