Year 10

TSCEA Career Expo

Kirsty Ramsay, Year 10 & PLP Leader

On Monday 3 April the year 10 cohort had the opportunity to attend the Tertiary Studies & Careers Expo Adelaide(TSCEA) held at the Adelaide Convention Centre. Students were able to talk to exhibitors directly about career pathways and tertiary opportunities whilst researching information about skills and employment prospects.

The positive interactions helped students think about the transitional period from school to work whilst exploring a wide range of academic and career opportunities to discover a future that is right for them.

This expo complemented the students Personal Learning Plan (PLP ) assessment task – designing their own career expo booth.

160 students conducted themselves respectfully on the day and represented our school in a positive and interactive way.  A number of students commented on how valuable they found the experience and how it has assisted them in shaping their decision making for the future.
