Outstanding Student Sporting Achievements

In recent years Wantirna College has strived to improve and allow students to excel in their hobbies outside of school and alongside that, the school is pushing to celebrate students' Sporting Excellence.

The College has recently had two students in particular strive for, and reach, some amazing goals and sporting achievements with Tayla Mcmillan (Year 10) receiving a spot on the U16 All-Australian team for her outstanding skills displayed throughout her footy season, and Bart Oporowicz (Year 9) being awarded two gold medals at the State Swimming Carnival for both the 50m freestyle (in which he completed in a speedy 26.14 seconds) and the 50m butterfly (where he finished in 28.04 seconds).

Both Bart and Tayla have gone so far, representing their school and working on their craft, building a bright future for themselves.

Congratulations Bart & Tayla!
