Junior Boys Netball

On Tuesday 16 May, our Year 8 boys went to Knox Regional Netball Centre and played their round robin against some other local schools. Both our teams put on a great display of netball throughout the day, and all tried their hardest in the wet and miserable conditions. 

Our 1’s team did a fantastic job and won every game of the day while showing great sportsmanship to both other students and teachers from the competing schools. 

Our 2’s put on a fantastic display throughout the day but unfortunately fell short and only had one win. All students who attended should be very proud of themselves and the effort they put in. We are excited to see what our 1’s team can do in the next round. 

Thank you to our coaches Abbey and Ella who did a fantastic job organising and guiding the boys on the day.

Intermediate Boys Netball

Congratulations to our Year 9 & 10 Intermediate Boys Netball teams who finished 1st and 2nd on Tuesday!

Both teams won all their games against Scoresby, Fairhills, Rowville and Boronia before playing a tight match against each other in the last round.

Intermediate Girls Netball

Congratulations to the Year 9 & 10 Intermediate Girls Netball teams who played specatular games today - third for the 1s, first for the 3s in their pool and second for the 2s against the 3s.

The 2s came third against a tough 2 Rowville teams and we beat Upwey twice for 3rd place. Both 2s and 3s won all their games in their pool then went up against eachother for the pool winners.  Keira Quirk and Mia Halamoutis did an outstanding job as student coaches.
