St Luke’s Athletics Trials - 31/5/23

This year we will be holding our school Athletics Trials on Wednesday 31/5/23. This event is open to any student that is turning 8 years or older this year (2023) and who aspires to trial and represent the College at the Zone/Diocesan Athletics Carnival. Please see the following document for further information regarding the event. 

If your child wishes to participate in the school Athletics Trials, please complete the online permission form by 9am Monday 22/5/23. Only students with a completed permission form will be able to attend. Unfortunately, no late entries will be accepted as numbers need to be confirmed to allow for final bookings to be made.

After School Cricket Program - Woolworths Cricket Blast

We are fortunate to be working with Cricket NSW this term and have an after school cricket program due to start on Wednesday 17th May, 2023 and will continue for 5 weeks. This program will run from 3pm - 4pm and will take place at St Luke’s oval. It is open to any student from Stage 1 (Year 1 and 2), Stage 2 (Year 3 and 4) and Stage 3 (Year 5 and 6). Further information regarding the program is included on the following flyer. 

Boys that are interested in participating are to please register by visiting the following link (no code required), and girls interested are to register by visiting this link (code = 7C4360CC). 

Please note only 80 spots are available and once all spots have been filled, registrations will close. This program will be run by Cricket NSW and all enquiries are to be directed to them (contact details included on the above flyer). 

Season 2 Thursday Representative Sport (Year 7 - 10)

Season two of Rep Sport will start next week. It was great to see the huge number of students that signed up to trial for rep sport. Congratulations to all students involved in these trials. 

If your child has already been selected on a season 2 rep sport team, you would have received an online permission form via Compass. Permission forms are due by Friday 12/5/23. Please ensure this form is completed in order for your child to participate in weekly rep sport.

Representative Sport

Congratulations to Salote for being selected on the NSWCCC 15 Years Netball Team and to Cassius for being selected on the MacKillop U11 Rugby League Team. Both wonderful achievements and we wish both students the best of luck when they compete against athletes from all over NSW in the coming months. 

Blacktown Zone Primary Cross Country 

On Wednesday 10th May we had several students compete at the Blacktown Zone Primary Cross Country. All students competed well and gave it their very best and had a great day representing St Luke’s. 

Congratulations to all students involved and a special congratulation to Cameron, James, Oliver for qualifying for the next stage. These students will compete in June at the NSWCPS Cross Country Championships.
