Challenge Based Learning - ‘Power’

Combining all of our Grade 1 classes and Grade 2 classes separately for at least two CBL sessions each week, has provided students with a wonderful opportunity to connect and learn together. We have been learning about renewable and non-renewable sources of power. It is impressive to hear them talking about the types of power and where they come from and how to conserve power. We will continue to look at how to conserve our power and contribute wonderful ideas on how to look after our planet. We will also start using renewable sources of power to power various projects. We will need your help by asking your child to bring in a shoe box or and small pizza box something of a similar size! Watch this space!!

Friendology and Respectful Relationships

We are really impressed to see our students putting the concepts learnt during our Friendology sessions in action. They are not only identifying the qualities that make others a great friend, but also making an effort to ensure that they exhibit such qualities. We have also been learning about the importance of loving ourselves first and being our own BFF as well as managing our impulsivity and building our self control by slowing down. We hope you are hearing about these at home!

Home spelling
