Education Sub Committee Update

Education Sub Committee is a hard working sub committee of school council - the responsibilities of the committee are to oversee the school's policies and Child Safe procedures.

At our last meeting we reviewed the new Child Safe Standards to see how our school is aligning with them, we also identified future work to be done in the area.

Policies recently reviewed include;

The Afterschool Basktetball policy has also been reviewed. The policy was developed by the Phys Ed Department, Education Sub Committee and School Council have also reviewd the policy.

The DRAFT policy is now ready for community consultation. Please share any thoughts you have regarding this policy with me via email by Friday 2nd June - adele.brice@education.vic.gov.au

Volunteer Child Safe Training

Training is required to be updated annually.

There are two upcoming sessions for anyone looking to volunteer at our school;

Casual CRT (Casual Relief Staff) register

It's important to us that our casual relief staff are known to our families within our community. We highly value the team of people who work for us to replace our teaching staff when they are unwell.

We are currently looking at expanding our CRT list - if you are a teacher (or know of one) and would be happy to join our list, please let me know - I would love to hear from you.
