Senior Girls Soccer
The Senior Girls Soccer Team competed in the local tournament on Tuesday the 16th of May. Despite not winning the tournament the girls all tried their absolute best and played really well as a team. Well done on your sportsmanship shown on the day and for representing the school with pride!

INTERMEDIATE TENNIS SUCCESS
On the 8th of May 2023, the Suzanne Cory High School Tennis Team played at the Western Metropolitan Tennis Competition (regionals) after completely obliterating their competition at the Wyndham Competition.
The clay courts being absolutely flooded made it another battle, as well as completely crippling our shoes. However, we still had an awesome time playing against our opponents and trying our hardest.
A big thanks to Ms Guastella for all her support throughout the day as well as the tremendous time and effort that she put into making this team and fantastic day possible.
Competing against the likes of Maribyrnong Sports Academy and Bayside Tennis School the teams put up a tremendous fight. Suzanne Cory showed great resilience and excellent sportspersonship throughout the day. We were happy with our result - 3rd place, all the blood, sweat and tears were worth it! We had a tremendous day playing some great tennis.

Cross Country
On Tuesday 23 May, 46 of our best long-distance runners took on the 3km and 5km challenges of the President’s Park cross country circuit in Werribee. The weather was great, and so were our runners, with students making the top 15 in all events and progressing through to the next round!
The level of support between peers across the year levels was wonderful to see, and the enthusiastic rendition of ‘Lanterns’ (the common song for the much-anticipated Chorals event) during the bus ride home was the cherry on the top of a fabulous day 😊
Thank you to Ms Francis and Mr King for their assistance, and for their first-rate support of our students on the day.
