In 2000, to promote Education Week in our community, Leader Newspapers organized a competition where students were asked to either write poetry or photograph or design an art piece which was pertinent to the theme ‘Civics and Citizenship’. Two students from 7 Delany, Linda Liu and Huong Tran, entered the competition. Linda received a Certificate of Achievement and a Jag watch to the value of $150, whilst Huong received a Certificate of Merit.
