Prayer

Make us worthy, Lord, to serve our fellow men

throughout the world who live and die in poverty and hunger.

Give them through our hands, this day their daily bread,

and by our understanding love, give peace and joy.  Amen

Project Compassion Boxes

Last week your child/ children will have bought home a project compassion box.

Project Compassion is Caritas Australia's annual Lenten fundraising and awareness-raising appeal. Millions of Australians come together in solidarity with the world's poor to help end poverty, promote justice and uphold dignity.

Project Compassion inspires so many communities to come together to raise much needed funds for the most vulnerable women, children and men in Australia and around the world.

We ask that  these boxes are returned by Wednesday 8th April.

Altar Servers

If your child has made their First Eucharist and wishes to be on the weekend altar server roster please let me know and I will place them on the roster.

St Patrick's Day

Saint Patrick's Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick, is a cultural and religious celebration held on 17th March, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland.

On the 17th March we will be celebrating St Patrick's Day. We ask that the children come to school dressed in Green.  The children are also asked to bring in a $2 coin with all proceeds going to Caritas Australia.

Real Talk

WHO IS 'REAL TALK?' We provide seminars, reflection days and up-to-date resources to young people on topics relating to identity, technology, relationships, love, sex and marriage. We speak to over 30,000 students each year and will visit each school in the Armidale diocese in 2020.

They will be running a parent session on the 31st March at 6:30pm. All Parents across K-6 are welcome.

Catholic Principles and Values

1.The principles of the Sanctity of Life

" Every human life  is sacred because the  human person has been wiled for its own sake in the image and likeness of God". The belief in the sanctity of human life and the inherent dignity of the human person is the foundation of all the principles of the church's social teaching.  Catholics believe that  people are more important than things, and that the measure of every institution is whether it threatens or enhances the life  and dignity of the human person.
