Volleyball

On Friday the 28th of February Mr Scott and myself took 6 volleyball teams to Splash in Leongatha. The teams that represented Korumburra Secondary were the Yr 7 Girls, Yr 8 Girls, Yr 8 Boys, 2 Inter Girls and the Inter Boys. Both the Yr 7 Girls and Yr 8 Girls were a little under represented however they came together to play some exciting volleyball and generally learnt a lot during the day.  The Yr 8 boys were only a couple of points off winning their division however in the end, Mary MacKillop was a little too strong. The inter girls had very strong competition with 6 teams in their division. I was really impressed with their skill development and they showed plenty of class to win a majority of their games. The unlucky story of the day was the inter boys, with their final game decided by 2 points. Again they showed great skill development from where they started at training in early term 1 to the day of their competition. Congratulations to all those who played on the day. I hope to see you and many more students out on school sport in the future.
