Term 4 – High Expectations with uniform and attendance
Parents and carers - we still need your help with student uniforms and arriving on time! We know many of you also set these expectations with your children (and it can be a battle with some teens)!
We have observed many students attending school not in full school uniform this term. We have a strict uniform policy at Box Hill High School and we expect all our students to be attending school and excursions in our school uniform. From the start of Term 4 there will be a greater focus on uniform and following through with consequences (lunchtime and/or afterschool detentions) for students who are repeatedly not wearing correct uniform at school.
If families require support with uniforms due to financial reasons, please contact the appropriate Year Level Coordinator or Student Wellbeing Leader Felicity Shiel-Jones at Felicity.Shiel-Jones@education.vic.gov.au.
Students without correct uniform must bring a note from home explaining the situation and present it to the appropriate Year Level Coordinator first thing in the morning (or at recess if late to school).
In 2024, the school with our School Council will undertake a uniform review with student and parent input.
