College Captains' Report 

The start of Term 3 has been really good for the Year 7s. 

We have started our new subjects, switched languages and 'Create' subjects. In the first few weeks we are having a quick start back into things, moving closer to starting our Term 3 PBLs. It has also been great to meet a few new teachers as we have had a few changes. The start of our new sports for Term 3 has been great fun and we all look forward to our first match. All the Year 7s have really loved Term 3 so far and getting to see all our friends again after the break has been awesome.

Year 8s have had an action-packed start to Term 3. 

One of the main things we have been up to is choosing our specialisms for Year 9 and discovering what we are enthusiastic about. Specialisms are like learning about a more specific area of a subject, for example DNA to dinosaurs (Genetics) in BEST or Writing Skills in English; this is a fantastic opportunity to take more responsibility in our learning and spark our curiosity. We can’t wait for the exciting things in store for us for the rest of this term.
