YEAR 10 APPLIED SCIENCE

The Year 10 Applied Science class have been exploring the link between genetics/genomics and dairy farming. To complement and reinforce their classroom work, they recently had the opportunity of a field trip to a local dairy farm.

They explored a working dairy farm, how genomics is used for herd improvement, and realised the diverse range of occupations linked to agriculture. It was a fantastic hands on opportunity for them to experience.
