Y11 Residential Program

Pictured: Year 11s at Chris Hills Uluru Camel Farm

Central Australia

For the very first time, Huntingtower had its first ever residential program in Central Australia! This trip was a wonderful educational and life-learning experience for our Year 11 students, we are so pleased this opportunity was able to go ahead following such a challenging past two years at school.

The group travelled through the Australian outback visiting the lands of no less than six different Aboriginal nations. Learning how they lived and shared a beautiful, abundant and sometimes hostile environment. What an amazing opportunity for the group who experienced such magic of culture and landscapes that will stay with them for life.

• Touring Uluru and the Field of Lights

• Visiting Kata Tjuta National Park

• Walking through the Olgas along the Valley of the Winds

• Camel rides in Yulara

• Visiting Alice Springs, Desert Park and Earth Sanctuary

Thank you to all who made this opportunity possible and to the HT staff who captured these breathtaking photos
