Under 6 White
The LNPS White team have had 2 excellent games. Kicked a lot of goals at games & even passed the ball to each other leading to a goal being kicked. Great sportsmanship & team attitude.

U7 Blue had a great first game winning 3 - 1 against Flinders Park

Lockleys North White under 7's had a 1-0 win over Prospect North for our first game.
Goal scorer was the team captain Chase Wilson. Great team game by everyone.

Good to see the kids having a great time and getting a better understanding of the game and putting some great passages of play together.

Under 9
U9s have shown fantastic promise with players improving dramatically from week 1 to week 2.
As coach I have really enjoyed the spirit these little men are showing both in training and on Match day. With 2 close losses I see these boys knocking up their first win soon. I would like to thank the Goal keeper volunteers for stepping up in what is the hardest position on the pitch!

Under 11
A fantastic effort by the U11 team. Some great saves by goalkeepers Ruby and Lachlan K, and terrific team play from all players to assist in scoring goals. LNPS was leading 3-2 with seconds left and unfortunately a deflected goal to Flinders Park finished the match at 3-3.

Game 2 – LNPS vs Woodville Gold
Game 3 – St Michaels vs LNPS
What a great couple of weeks it has been for Lockley’s North Football.
The kids are having lots fun and the group is really coming together as a team with very quick improvement across the board from all players.
The coaches have been very impressed with the teamwork and sportsmanship shown by all of the kids. There have been some great marks and fantastic goals scored.
The highlight this week was the singing of the team song all together after the game in the huddle.
This weekend sees the players participating in a lightning carnival at Woodville Oval. Good luck to all.
Thanks as always to our parent helpers – warm ups / goal umpiring and baking for the coffee stall – all your help is very much appreciated.
