LIBRARY OVERDUE BOOKS

Please be aware that Library books are for 2 week loans only.  It may be possible to extend a book if it is not reserved by anyone else.  We currently have many books still outstanding since the last school holidays; this means that your child cannot borrow until they are returned.  When books become ‘very overdue’ a note will be sent home requesting $10 per book be paid to the Library.

2016 PREMIER’S READING CHALLENGE

Just a reminder that students are required to do one PRC sheet ONLY this year – this is all that is required to receive a Premier’s Award!   The PRC finishes on 9th September 2016.

Choose books from your year level:

Reception – Year 2 = RED STICKERS

Year 3 – Year 5 = GREEN STICKERS

Year 6 – Year 7 = BLUE STICKERS

Make sure at least 8 of your 12 books are from the PRC books and the other 4 can be any books you enjoy reading. 

PRC sheets need to be fully completed (full book title & author name) and initialled by an adult before being placed in the PRC box in the Tirkandi Library.

‘Recommend-a-Read’ for books to be added to the PRC list
