Out Of School Hours Care

Week 2 Term 4

My Time Our Place

During the first two weeks of term 4 the children have enjoyed getting back into routine and spent the mornings and afternoons sharing what they did during the school holidays. The children enjoy sharing their experiences with their friends and this allows the children to develop their communication and listening skills. In the afternoons the children have participated in a variety of craft activities that have focused around the theme of ‘Circus’. The children have had fun making paper juggling balls, clown masks and participating in drama games and activities.

School Closure Day & Pupil Free Day

There will be a School Closure day on the 6th of November and a Pupil Free Day on the 9th of November. Please can you inform the service if your child/ren will require care on either of these dates via email. In order for the service to be viable we require a minimum of 15 bookings per day. Families will be informed whether the service will be operating on those days by the 30th of October.

September/October Vacation Care Newsletter

The September/October Vacation Care Newsletter is available from the schools website, the OSHC room and has been sent out via email.

Medications

If your child requires medication please ensure that you have provided an action plan as well as the medication (asthma pump, epipen etc.) to the service. It is vital that we have access to your child’s medication at our service whilst your child is attending.

Hats

As part of our sun safety policy all children are required to wear a hat if they are playing outside. Please remind your child/children to bring their hats from their classroom if they are attending the service.

Absentees

A reminder to all parents and caregivers to contact the service via email at

info@lnpsoshc.org.au

if their child(ren) are no longer attending their sessions or have been collected early from school.
