Principal's Message

We are thrilled that our usual end of year presentations and celebrations are able to go ahead.

This being:

Tuesday 8th December - Presentation Day

Wednesday 9th December- Year 6 Farewell

Friday 11th December- Picnic Day

Monday and Tuesday 14th and 15th December- Brooke Idol.

Presentation Day Update:

This year, we are making changes to the number of class awards presented on Presentation Day.

Each class will be awarded four awards (as decided by the class teacher/s). These awards are listed below.

Academic Achievement- This is awarded to students who have displayed a high level of performance and effort in one or more Key Learning Areas throughout the year.

Most Improved- This is awarded to students who demonstrate improvement in one or more Key Learning Areas throughout the year.

Positive Behaviour for Learning- This is awarded to students who have shown they are a safe, respectful, learner, throughout the year.

Teacher Nominated - Class teachers will decide what this award is for. Examples could be – Consistent effort, positive attitude towards learning, excellence in a particular area etc.

School planning for 2021 is well underway. Our dedicated teachers make it a priority to know students on an individual level throughout the year. Currently, they are meticulously placing students in classes that are most appropriate with thought given to academic, social and wellbeing needs of all students. If your child has special needs and you feel a request for social or wellbeing requirements is necessary please put this in writing and address to Mr Dalkeith.

Additionally, if your family is moving and your child will not be returning to BAPS in 2021 can you please inform the office asap, if you have not already, with the school that your child will be attending in 2021.

I would like to thank you for your ongoing support and understanding during 2020.
