PUPDATE

Dodger has been very busy the past two weeks with his training. We have been continuing our weekly walks with Sherry’s sister Saffy, and have been lucky enough to meet up with some other Seeing Eye Dog puppies as well. Dodger also got to walk with Sam and Scooter (brothers), Ben, Yin and Kryssa (Sherry and Saffy’s half sister). Scooter, Ben and Dodger were able to have a play after their walk, where they enjoyed jumping in the clam pool and chasing each other around.

Dodger had his first training experience in Werribee Plaza. He was really well behaved as we walked around, and was able to sit and wait patiently as I pretend to look through some items. He is a typical male dog though - shopping is definitely not one of his hobbies! He also went out for dinner for the first time over the weekend. He was very interested in all the different smells and all the people that were walking past, so this is an area we will continue to focus on with our training - staying in a down position and eventually falling asleep.
