Wellbeing Support (Chaplaincy)
At Altona College we have a Wellbeing Support (Chaplain) in our school two days per week. Our Chaplain is Liz Zunica and she has a background working with children, youth and families in social welfare settings.
Our Chaplain is available to provide resources and support to students, families and teachers. The chaplain provides individual support for students managing a range of challenges. These may include difficulties adjusting after the period of remote learning, support in times of stress, anxiety, grief and loss and support through social and friendship difficulties. Our chaplain provides one to one support as well as group programs throughout the year.
Liz Zunica is available at school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and can be contacted via the office. Parents can contact her directly on these days to discuss any concerns. Support can be accessed by completing the Chaplaincy permission form.
