Stage of the Week

Who says Mathematics can't be fun? 

Our Year 8 students completed their annual project on Ratios. We have some talented and hard-working students who did some creative work. They took accurate measurements using scale factors and produced these amazing 3D models. 

Year 7 Book Club

Year 7 students recently had their first book club get-together after reading “The Book of Chance” by Sue Whiting. Sue is a local author from Wollongong and has written several novels for upper primary and high school. Sue will be visiting our Year 7 classes in Week 3 to discuss her books and the writing process. We had a terrific response to our first Year 7 Book Club and are looking forward to the next get-together after reading ‘A Great Escape’ by Felice Arena.

Enjoying learning in the new building

Years 7 and 8 have already had many opportunities to enjoy learning in the new building. This has provided a wonderful learning environment for many subjects, including Maths, Art, Mandatory Tech, English and French.
