Parent and Community

We are very excited that our Broadbeans have started to grow. I have never grown them before and was surprised to see that they are growing up not down!

Last year one of our lovely families donated this garden bed which we now grow our strawberries in. If you have an old garden bed or bath tub that you don’t want any more please contact Ms Ryan at the school.

Today the Grade 6’s helped plant some zucchini and tomatoes, we used non-recyclable coffee cups that we have collected to protect the plants from bugs and pests. We also have our wonderful apple trees starting to blossom.

TOP Secret - World Teachers' Day Virtual Message Board

Sssshhhhh This is TOP secret!!

This coming Friday, 30 October is World Teachers' Day.

Because we are still limited in what can be done at school, we have set up another virtual message board for students and their families to post messages of thanks.

If you'd like to leave a message for any teachers, aides, office staff and/or leadership, please make sure you leave your name, your class (if you're a student), and which staff member you are leaving a message for.

Message board link: https://padlet.com/CSPS/mgw1xqtjgniv2ou9

This year has been extremely different, so your messages will be especially appreciated.

We look forward to sharing this with our sharing this with our school community.

Second hand Uniform - Donations of items with logos and dresses ONLY accepted

As of now, if you wish to donate second hand uniform to the school, please provide items that have the school logo (either PSW or iron-on is fine), and school summer and winter dresses ONLY.

Other generic items such as trackies, skirts, shorts, leggings, hoodies purchased at department stores (Kmart, Big W etc) are no longer required and should be donated elsewhere.

We truly appreciate everyone that has donated uniforms to the school recently and in the past, and want to thank those that have purchased from the second hand uniforms blitz over the last few months.

Thank you,

Uniform Team

SAFE PARKING @ CSPS

The Park Safe Stay Safe campaign is a City of Casey priority.

Keeping everyone safe around schools is a shared responsibility.  Be sure to observe all school speed zones and parking restrictions.

The Park Safe Stay Safe Campaign animation (see link below) is a useful tool to become familiar with parking restrictions and the importance of safe parking around schools.
