Music Roundup and Farewell

2020 saw no Recital Nights, Music Camp or 'Matilda', the chosen musical. I would like to congratulate all of the students who kept attending their online lessons for classroom and instrumental music lessons. This will help keep our vibrant music department moving well into the future-post Covid! The start of Term 4 saw the VCE students present their full performance programs in a series of lunchtime concerts. These concerts were well attended by staff and students (no parents unfortunately) and the students did themselves very proud. We capped off the Year 12's year with a celebratory dinner where we laughed, remembering all of the fun times that we've had together over the past 6 years at CSC including the famous Year 9 'Dance Off' to the bemused Chewton Primary School students.

As I am finishing up at CSC after 13 wonderful years, I'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to the students and families of all of my students. I have so many happy memories of camps and concerts that I will treasure forever. I wish all of my past students a bright and happy future and hope that we will have a chat from time to time when our paths cross.

All the best everyone.

Love Kirsten
