T.I.M.E (Music)

TIME are back onsite! (well most of us)

It is so amazing to hear the sound of music flow through our school again.  It has been so wonderful to hear how TIME lessons have kept students engaged and happy during lockdown.

The new Department of Education guidelines currently does not permit any brass, woodwind or singing to happen on school site, due to aerosol (Covid Safety) concerns.  In true TIME style we have been creative in how we can approach this and are SUPER excited about how these lessons will be running for the rest of the term.

We are continuing with our Lockdown Rockdown series this term to provide all TIME students with the opportunity to perform.  Our next Lockdown Rockdown will be on Friday 30th October.

Performing Arts

During the end of term three, students finished their compositions and began lyric writing. The work completed online was fantastic and some of it was shared in our last issue of the newsletter. Thank you again to the families who were able to complete the work, the students had expressed that they enjoyed the tasks, and shared that they had learned new skills.

By the end of this term we will have been able to categorise instruments into their families. Students have been so excited to return to music class, and we will be playing a lot of instruments this term. We will be inventing a lot of our own instruments as well, and there will be some examples in the next newsletter. Thank you again for all of the support for your children and their performing arts work during term two and three.
